First contact and project research
When you approach us for a job like this, we try to get to know you as well as possible, just like we do with branding, so we can get a better feel for how you, your company or whatever you want to put online. Or to get to know any existing and usable foundations that we can build on.
Through one or two face-to-face workshops and our internal customer research, we outline the following:
- How are you and your company?
- What are your values?
- What is your field of activity and communication?
- Who are your competitors, what is the economic-operational environment in which you and the platform you are building have to operate, and where would you go with your new site?
- What is your image, colours, graphic style (if not, we can help:)
- How the website/interface will work, structural logic, outline of content structure
- How should your site work and communicate?
- What should your visitors’ journey look like?
- If you have an existing site, keep/create/redefine your old features and content
- Pain points for further development – what new features should we plan?
- Complexity of the graphical user interface (Depends on the existing/upcoming design).
- Outlining content needs
- How your site will be structured, what page and content types you will have, on which the content management background can be built (depends on the purpose of the site)
- If you have old content, sorting out the content relationship between the old and the new page, what is left, where should the (new) content be?
- Do you have a need for photos, graphics, video, animation, text, social materials?
- Technikai igények:
- Content management and admin interface, languages and localisation, user management needs
- Integration of repository and services, plugins: payment interfaces, forms, infographics, calendar, spreadsheet, map, social, SEO, email client…
- Data collection and management, GDPR
- Planning schedules, optional phasing and phased development as required to meet your project budget and deadlines
- Based on this, we will prepare a design estimate and a contract for the design. If you can gather these together to the best of your ability beforehand, the more detailed the estimate we can give you!
Project specification, development preparation
Once agreed, this is the stage where we lay the groundwork in detail with the client and developer, and the aim is to get the development on a firm track by mutual agreement, the key to this is the preliminary specification of the project.
We ask for your active participation in the process and feedback so that we can produce the best possible work with your help.
- Draft for specification
- Start inspirational, functional and competitive research and concept building
- Operational and content structure of the new site, creating a map of it
- Defining page, subpage and content types (CMS)
- User path design in parallel with wireframes
- Writing a specification closely related to the plans and preliminary research with the involvement of a programmer
- Graphical UI direction pre-defined with detailed but not complete page plans
- Multiple in-person/online presentations to refine the specification, which provides the backbone, background and commitments of the development contract
- Finalisation of the specification based on the first two phases + developer’s estimate and contract for the development
Final UI design and development
Moving on to the third stage, the website can start to be built on the foundations laid, while the content is being prepared and loaded for the launch.
- Specification based on backend and admin programming in progress, this can be verified and tested by us in a clickable prototype form from a certain level of completion
- Frontend graphic design in progress
- Final graphic design of all page types
- Final design consultation with the client once the graphic designs are ready
- User interface development process from existing designs
- Content coordination (photos, animation-videos, drawings-graphics, etc.)
- Production of the necessary content on the basis of the client’s site and our commitments (images, drawings, texts…etc.)
- If we do not have a commitment to do so, the content of the website is entirely the responsibility of the client. It is also the client’s responsibility to deliver the materials to us in time to meet our commitments, so we can only be responsible for the launch date of the site.
- Multiple feedback rounds in person/online on all this
Development completion, content creation and upload
In the last phase we will test and debug the development, teach you how to use your site and our work together can be successfully completed:) Let’s start uploading content and launching the site!
- Backend programming ready
- Admin handover
- Admin training
- Upload content to get started
- Frontend programozás kész
- Grafikus felület feltöltve és működik
- Bugfix rounds
- Site testing for launch with dummy content on different devices and platforms together with the client
- They can be improved by a programmer in several rounds
- Page launch
We look forward to hearing from you, feel free to ask us!
